MYXÏSWYN invites you on a musical epic through the ballads and melodies of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, travelling across France, Spain, and Scandinavia. Inspired by the folk revival movement of the 1970s, she reimagines historical repertoires through the lens of contemporary instruments and modern artistic expression.
Luna Limage grew up in a family of musicians and discovered the piano at the age of five through her grandmother, who introduced her to the fundamentals of the instrument. At eight, she began formal piano studies while developing a passion for singing. She also learned guitar with various teachers, opening the door to a more folk-oriented musical universe.
During her teenage years, she performed regularly as a singer and guitarist in school productions, cabarets, and youth festivals. At the age of fourteen, she discovered medieval music and the Celtic harp. Three years later, she acquired her first harp and began studying the instrument independently.
In 2017, she was accepted into the Pop Vocal programme at IMEP in Namur, studying with Nicolas Dorian, former vocal coach on The Voice. The following year, she joined the classical harp class of Sophie Hallynck. In August 2019, she took part in the Eurovision Choir competition in Sweden as a member of IMEPs pop choir, Almakalia.
In 2022, Luna resumed her studies in music education. Alongside her solo work, she has flourished in several musical projects:
Ostara (founded in 2017), inspired by world music.
Erlendis (created in 2019), dedicated to Scandinavian traditional music and included in the Jeunesses Musicales catalogue in 2022.
Ydhessä (founded in 2023), a French-Belgian Celtic Folk Fusion ensemble.

From French legends to the warmth of Spain and the myths of Norway, the five tracks that compose this journey through time reveal atmospheres that are at once mystical, soothing, and celebratory. Spanning the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and sung in both Latin and French, these timeless songs are brought back to life through a fresh contemporary interpretation.
